I believe MDMA was used for shell shock initially or among other things. I do know of one psychotherapist who uses MDMA then LSD.

Don't know about Ghb, but MDMA was used by some (medical) psychologists/therapists up until the time it was determined to have no medical use (in 1985)... Afterwards, the psychologists who were using it in their practice either stopped using it, or offered it in an illicit underground therapy session. I don't know anyone who does this, but have heard rumors that there are some therapists in California who use MDMA. As a therapist, the benefit of actually helping someone is just not worth the risk of loss of licensure, not to mention imprisonment.
