I think low dose iboga would be similar in effect to MDMA from my experience. It can, under it's effects take you to places of strength and connection within yourself and with others that aren't something you readily create and experience in daily life. By taking these experiences and contrasting them with the weaknesses, indecision etc.. you experience in daily life you can begin to look at your motivations and intentions to see just what is manifesting certain situations and experiences in your life through your actions and reactions. When you can stand from a place of clarity and strength for a moment it can give you perspective on what it will take for you to build a sustainable internal foundation to maintain it. This is all dependent on a person being willing to go through the introspection to yield the questions and answers they may confront to heal.

At least it seems this is one way iboga may be effective in low doses for some individuals.
