[Ibogaine] Ibogaine Synthesis (and a question)

Of all the substances which one could take for "kicks", might not  
Ibogaine have the most potential to stimulate internal changes which  
lead to personal growth? Maybe not the safest
thing to take, but if it doesn't kill you, doesn't it make you stronger?
