[Ibogaine] Attention Patrick, or anyone

so far, speed beats even crack hands down for sheer dirty-drugness, in my limited experinces with speed/(in crank/glass form) and vast experiences with crach- and crack did me a HUGE number for years.
I've had nothing but icky experiences with the very few times I've tried crank (and not too many good ones with crack either), so that's my two cents.
But to outlaw it, or either? Not so sure, as a strict anti-prohibition. We have plenty of laws to deal with the aftereffects of speed use.

There's a big difference between crank and Adderall, which is time released Dexedrine, and Ritalin. I will give it to you in that there just might be some of these people who are self medicating. So, if they are self medicating, what would they be medicating for? ADD and ADHD? That's a possibility. Maybe severe depression, or manic depression. Possibly narcolepsy.
Crank is a pretty dirty drug from my understanding. Just looking at the shit they use to make it makes me cringe. Yea...........let's shoot some Drano. I'd like to take a night vision camera out to Iowa somewhere and make movies of those guys stealing the gaseous amonia or whatever that is that they have to steal from farmers. It'd be like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZIIIPPP what the hell was that??? It was one of those speed freaks runnin' through the rows. That's it!!! Children of The Corn on crystal methadrine............................we'd make millions.
Malichi........what are you gonna do with that sling blade???
Sorry, I just kinda lost it there for a minute.

           Peace Love and Truck Stops

I've been thinking about the speed issue for a very long time because of the three major illicit drugs to include it, heroin and cocaine, due to the long term damage it does to users, it's been the knottiest and thorniest problem in terms of making a case for its legalization, because I've never heard a credible argument for it.

What follows has nothing to do with question Dana is raising in terms of medical protocols in treating speed users with ibo, before and after, but it is something that I want to throw out and see what people think.

What I've recently come up with is that the issue with the scourge of street level speed is that the damage we see from it primarily stems mainly from the fact that it is an illegal, and therefore unregulated drug.

Indeed, if one was to add up all the millions of Adderall and Ritalin prescriptions that are dispensed daily in the USA we see that it can have beneficial effects for many people, but the vast majority of these are done under constant medical supervision and monitoring, which is just not the case with street drugs.

Also, one element of street level speed users is that we're not hearing discussed is that perhaps there is a percentage that are self-medicating; that they actually have a physical, and medical need to take this drug, and to come off it abruptly might do as much damage to them as long-term unregulated chronic use does.

Which then kicks this question right back at the doctors and if there are any on this list it would be good to see what their hit on all this is.

The question is, after they sleep it off, after you get them fed and stabilized, what do you do when they want a line of something. Alex Wodak says give them a line of dex-amphetamine (time release). I say a line of ibogaine.

ana I know that ibogaine is the solution to nearly every drug problem but isn't it a little nutso to dose people who are actively in a cocaine or speed psychosis with psychedelics? Am I wrong in somehow seeing this as a really bad idea?
