[Ibogaine] story of stuff

I don't think there's any trick to getting the word out about ibogaine. Drug therapies in the United States are regulated by the FDA. Getting Ibogaine into common usage in the United States will be dependent on providing scientific research which shows Ibogaine has medicinal properties, and that the benefits of taking Ibogaine in certain cases outweigh the dangers. Anything less than this will have about as much effectiveness as preaching. Morons who believe what people tell them without inspecting the research data or exploring that thing for themselves will buy it, perhaps.
I'm a proponent of psychedelics: I think they break down therapeutic resistance, and produce deep insights, and I think there's plenty of evidence to this effect available at www.maps.org as well as the anecdotal experiences related by others and attested to by myself. Once the fundamentalists are out of office, perhaps science can lead the way again. Even then, though, psychedelics would need to be capable of being patented and mass-produced with a high market value before the big pharma companies will adopt them.
Meanwhile, smoke Salvia Divinorum. Peace.Kevin G. Brady(415) 341-0022 (H)gomorrhan at hotmail.comwww.myspace.com/clear_objectives

So, what's the Tipping Point, or 100th Monkey gonna be?AA got started over a spiritual talk over kitchen table in that led to Bill Wilson getting hit with a blinding flash of light in NYC Hospital, after his last blinding drunk on Staten Island, by the Silver Lake Golf Course that I grew up by, that's not far from where Howard's office is at.(Cue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEbDqKeax0s )Wilson did say that the LSD he did in the 1950s was the closest thing to the blinding flash that got, and kept him sober, (neither got him over the compulsive womanizing and his tobacco habit that eventually killed him, though), so there is a psychedelic precedent to all this.I still say that there is a lot to be learned from the early history of AA that can be put to good use in getting the word out of the Ibogaine miracle that we haven't even begun to tap.God, Festivus, (which totally snuck up on me this go-round), really is the best time of the year. :-P ......simon loxton wrote:

Ibogaine is a catalyst for change and a chance to be "reborn" I prefer this metaphor as apposed to a meal as the meal comes later when the new born child needs to be fed and so on. The ibogaine experience is only the beginning and what you put in is what you get out as per usual.
What you are referring to reminds me of the dry-drunk story: I am still the same ass-hole I just have fewer dents in my car. The thing is ibogaine may do alot for you but it is not going to get things done; that is up to you. I have not seen the movie yet but change or even global change starts with you; each one of us. This is the only way to change the world or make a good start.

After the meal, what comes next, go watch TV, go back to your job and continue consuming as before? If we fed a starving child in Africa, would that be the end of it? I hope not. I would hope to be changed in some fundamental way and be a part of the community working to save the Earth from our own folly. This video helps to shine light on what needs to be addressed after transformation. Thank you Howard for sharing this. It has everything to do with Ibogaine.
