I owned a house once but I never had any money after that. Maybe they had
money once? Blew it all on addiction?
Who knows.
Sounds like their families were instrumental in keeping them in jail.
Nice place to detox. Yum yum.

I have to agree with this, nothing in the story makes any sense. If
you can afford a condo in Belize, then you can afford a plane ticket
to go to your condo and do whatever you want in perfect legality and
relative safety.

It sounds more like either someone who is in the middle of a
methamphetamine run and out of their mind at the time of questioning,
or someone who is being charged for guns and drugs and instead wants
to turn the whole thing into a ibogaine civil rights case. Unless they
made it all up, what ibogaine was found?
